The first thing I noticed was how the ‘background’ music was “actually” in the background and appropriate to this CD’s theme. I played this on my bedside radio/clock/CD player and fell asleep. Woke up amazingly energetic and “turtle neck” free…(where your shoulders meet your ears because of so much stress and tension). I loved hearing, “If you want to be lazy, be lazy”…how many CD’s do you hear that and actually want to get things accomplised joyfully the next day? LOVE THIS!!!! Thank You other reviewers for your comments…it actually led me to buying this!

The voice and pace of the meditations is excellent. I fell asleep before the end of the second track the first 5 times I used it!I use it to help with sleep, but I also highly recommend this CD for easing anxiety, especially with finals and midterms!

I recommend this CD for anyone who has trouble sleeping. I listened while wide awake on a weekend, and I nearly fell asleep on the couch. Beth’s voice takes you on a gentle journey to a restful place.

This is my very first relaxation CD I have purchased. Let me tell you…it changed my nights! I was having so much trouble falling asleep because I would get lost in my own thoughts and relive the day (and sometimes the past). I couldn’t shut down. When I listen to Beth’s soothing voice and words – I listen to what she is saying and forget all about my day. Listening to her CD has become my nightime ritual. Before I go to sleep I say, “Goodnight Beth”. LOL. Very grateful I have this CD. I will be purchasing a few for Christmas presents this year. I highly recommend it!

The Guided Imagery portion of the CD was most effective for allowing me to really slow down and relax. The narrator’s peaceful voice was well matched to the beautiful music contained within the CD. It really was a very calming experience and a perfect end to another busy day.
